2026 is shaping up to be the most expensive year for streaming yet. Netflix hit its biggest single price increase ever, Spotify raised prices for the third time in four years, and more hikes are expected. Here's every increase, what it means for your wallet, and how to fight back.
Biggest single increase ever. Premium went from $22.99 to $24.99. Ad tier unchanged at $7.99.

First Fan tier increase since 2019. Mega Fan now $14, Ultimate Fan $18. Free tier killed in Jan 2026. Existing customers hit March 4.
