Everything you need to know about Just Cancel
Do you store my financial data?
No. We do not have a database for user transactions. The analysis results live in your browser's localStorage and auto-delete after 48 hours. Your bank statement is sent directly to Claude (Anthropic's AI) for analysis — we never see, store, or have access to your transaction data.
Who can see my transactions?
Only Claude (Anthropic's AI) processes your statement during analysis. We never see or store your transactions. Results exist only in your browser's local storage and are automatically deleted.
Is it safe to upload my bank statement?
Yes. Your statement is transmitted over HTTPS encryption directly to Anthropic's AI for processing. We don't store the file, don't connect to your bank, and don't require login credentials. The file never touches our servers.
What do I get for $5?
A complete list of every subscription we identify on your statement, with: the exact monthly/yearly cost, direct cancellation links for each service, difficulty ratings, and your total subscription spending. It's a one-time payment — not a subscription (we practice what we preach).
What if I don't save more than $5?
If Just Cancel doesn't pay for itself, you shouldn't pay for it. Email hello@justcancel.io for a full refund — no questions asked.
Is there a free preview?
Yes! Upload your statement for free and we'll show you how many subscriptions we found and a preview of the charges. You only pay $5 to unlock the full details with cancel links.
Do you cancel subscriptions for me?
We find them; you cancel them. We give you a complete list with direct links to each service's cancel page — one click to each cancellation. We also have step-by-step cancel guides for 1,100+ services.
How much transaction history do I need?
2-3 months of recent statements. This captures monthly, quarterly, and annual charges. Don't upload more than 3 months — it won't improve results.
What banks and formats do you support?
CSV exports from most banks — Chase, Capital One, Amex, Citi, Discover, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and international formats (Revolut, N26, HDFC, Nubank). PDF statements are also supported for major banks.
How many subscriptions do people usually find?
The average user finds 8-15 recurring charges, including 3-5 they forgot about. Most people discover $50-200/month in subscriptions they didn't realize they were still paying for.
Is there a free version?
Yes — the open source version (github.com/rohunvora/just-fucking-cancel) is free but requires terminal setup and your own Anthropic API key. The $5 web version handles everything automatically.
