Todoist Pro costs $4/month ($48/year). While affordable, the free tier handles 5 projects and basic task management — enough for most personal use. Here's how to cancel without losing your data.

Export Tasks First

Before cancelling, go to Settings → Backups in Todoist and export your tasks as a CSV. The free tier limits you to 5 active projects — if you have more, some will be archived (not deleted) when you downgrade.

How to Cancel

1. Go to todoist.com/app/settings/subscription
2. Sign in to your account
3. Click Manage subscription
4. Click Cancel subscription
5. Confirm — you keep Pro features until the billing period ends, then downgrade to free
