Good news: Thinkific's free plan lets you keep 1 course with unlimited students. If you only have one main course, downgrade instead of cancelling.

Before You Cancel

⚠️ Export your content and student data

Student list: Users → Export to CSV (emails, progress, completions)
Course content: Download all uploaded videos, PDFs, and files
Revenue/orders: Orders → Export (for tax records)
Custom domain: Update DNS if you used a custom domain

How to Cancel

Log in to your Thinkific admin dashboard
Go to Settings → Billing
Click Change Plan
Select Free or Cancel Subscription
Confirm — your site downgrades at the end of the billing period

On the free plan, only your first course remains published. Additional courses become drafts (not deleted — they're still there if you resubscribe).
