How to Cancel Teachable in 2026 (Creator vs Student — Different Processes)

Teachable serves two audiences — course creators (who pay Teachable for the platform) and students (who pay creators for courses). Cancellation is completely different for each. Here's both.

For Course Creators: Cancel Your Teachable Plan

Teachable plans range from $39-$199/month (or $228-$1188/year). To cancel:

• Contact the course creator directly through their website or email
• Check the creator's refund policy (usually on their sales page)
• Most creators offer 30-day money-back guarantees, but it's not required

If the creator won't refund and you believe it's fraud, contact your credit card company for a chargeback.

Cancel a Student Subscription (Recurring Course)

If you're on a monthly subscription to a course:

1. Log in to the school where you purchased the course
