How to Cancel TaskRabbit in 2026 (Client or Tasker Account)

TaskRabbit doesn't have a monthly subscription — it's pay-per-task. So "canceling" means either closing your client account or deactivating your Tasker profile. Here's both processes and what to handle first.

Close Your Client Account

1. Make sure all tasks are completed or canceled
2. Go to taskrabbit.com/account/close
3. Or: Account → Settings → scroll to bottom → Close Account
4. Select a reason
5. Confirm closure

Deactivate as a Tasker (Service Provider)

If you work on TaskRabbit and want to stop:

1. Complete all accepted tasks — you can't deactivate with open jobs
2. Withdraw all earnings to your bank account
3. Go to Account → Settings → Deactivate Account
4. Or contact TaskRabbit support to fully close your Tasker account

Cancel a Specific Task (Not Your Account)
