Perplexity Pro costs $20/month ($200/year if paid annually). It gives you unlimited Pro searches (using GPT-4, Claude, and other top models), file uploads, and image generation. The free tier gives you 5 Pro searches per day — which is enough for most casual users.
If you subscribed through the iOS app, cancel through iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Perplexity → Cancel. Apple handles the billing, not Perplexity.

At $20/month, Perplexity Pro competes directly with ChatGPT Plus ($20), Claude Pro ($20), Copilot Pro ($20), and Gemini Advanced ($20). They all cost the same. If you're paying for more than one, pick your primary tool and cancel the others. One AI assistant at $20/month is reasonable. Three at $60/month is waste.
If you use Perplexity less than 5 times a day, the free tier covers you completely. If you already pay for ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro, those tools also do web search — you probably don't need a third AI subscription. Cancel and save $200-240/year.
