Do You Actually Need It?

You need it if:

You DON'T need it if:

You only play single-player games (Zelda, Mario, Animal Crossing offline)
You haven't turned on your Switch in months

⚠️ Some games ONLY support cloud saves through Nintendo Switch Online (no local backup). If you cancel, your cloud saves remain for 180 days, then are deleted. Check which of your games use cloud saves before cancelling.
