How to Cancel Nextdoor (Delete Account) in 2026

Delete Your Account (Permanent)

1. Go to nextdoor.com/settings
2. Scroll to bottom → Deactivate or delete my account
3. Choose Permanently delete account
4. Enter your password to confirm
5. Account deletion takes up to 14 days to complete

Deactivate vs Delete

• Deactivate: Hides your profile but keeps your data. You can reactivate by logging in again.
• Delete: Permanently removes your account, posts, messages, and data. Cannot be undone.

If you're concerned about privacy, choose delete. Deactivation leaves your personal info on their servers.
