Updated February 2026 · 4 min read
Marvel Unlimited costs $9.99/month or $69/year for access to 30,000+ digital comics. If you've finished your reading list or the 3-month delay on new releases is killing you, here's how to cancel.

- You keep access until your current billing period ends

Cancel via Google Play (Android)

- Tap profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
- Find Marvel Unlimited → Cancel
What Happens After Cancelling
- Downloaded comics: Removed from your device when subscription expires
- Reading history: Saved to your Marvel account — available if you resubscribe
- Reading lists: Also saved — your curated lists persist on your account
- Comics you bought: Any individual digital purchases through Marvel's store are yours forever
- Annual plan: No partial refunds, but you keep access through the year
Is Marvel Unlimited Worth Keeping?
The value depends on your reading habits:
- Worth it if: You read 5+ comics per month ($2/comic on ComiXology, so $10+ value), want to explore back catalog runs, or are catching up on events
- Not worth it if: You only follow 1-2 current series (buying individual issues is cheaper), or you've read through your bucket list
- The rotation trick: Subscribe for 1-2 months, binge your reading list, cancel, come back in 6 months when new content has built up
Alternatives to Marvel Unlimited
- DC Universe Infinite ($7.99/month): Same concept but for DC comics
- Hoopla (free with library card): Thousands of comics including some Marvel titles
- Libby/OverDrive (free with library card): Digital graphic novels from your library
- ComiXology Unlimited ($5.99/month): Mixed publishers, different catalog
