How to Cancel Hyundai Blue Link ($9.90-$14.90/mo) — 2026 Guide
Updated February 2026 • Phone cancellation • Free trial auto-converts
⚠️ Common trap: Hyundai Blue Link comes with a free 3-year Connected Care trial on new cars. After 3 years, it silently converts to a paid subscription at $9.90-$14.90/month. Many Hyundai owners don't realize they're paying for it.
Cancel Blue Link by Phone
- Call 1-855-258-3546 (Blue Link Customer Service)
- Say you want to cancel your Blue Link subscription
- Provide your VIN or account details
- They'll explain what you're losing (remote start, stolen vehicle tracking, etc.)
- Confirm cancellation and ask for email confirmation
Phone is the primary cancellation method. Blue Link doesn't have a simple online cancel button.
Cancel via MyHyundai App
- Open the MyHyundai app
- Go to Account → Blue Link Subscription
- Look for Manage or Cancel options
- If no cancel option appears, you'll need to call instead
What You Lose vs. What Still Works
❌ You Lose
- Remote start from phone
- Stolen vehicle recovery
- Vehicle health reports
- Remote lock/unlock
- Destination search to car
- Monthly vehicle diagnostics
✅ Still Works
- Key fob remote start
- All driving functions
- Built-in navigation
- Apple CarPlay / Android Auto
- SOS emergency button (may stay active)
- Bluetooth phone connection
Blue Link Plan Pricing
- Connected Care (free 3 years): Auto SOS, monthly diagnostics, recall alerts
- Remote ($9.90/mo): Remote start, lock/unlock, vehicle finder, climate control
- Guidance ($14.90/mo): Adds turn-by-turn navigation sent to car, POI search
That's $119-$179/year. Most people only use remote start, which your key fob does for free.
Is Blue Link Worth It?
- Worth it if: You live in extreme climates and use remote start daily from your phone (key fob range is limited)
- Not worth it if: You park in a garage, live in mild weather, or your key fob reaches your car
- Navigation package: Apple CarPlay/Android Auto gives you better navigation for free — skip the Guidance plan entirely
