Cancel Etsy Plus ($10/mo subscription for shop tools) is different from closing your Etsy shop (shutting down entirely). You can cancel Plus and keep your shop open. This guide covers both.

Cancel Etsy Plus Subscription

Go to etsy.com and log in
Click Shop Manager
Go to Settings > Etsy Plus
Click Cancel subscription
Confirm — your Plus benefits end at the current billing period
Your shop remains open and active without Plus

Close Your Etsy Shop Entirely

Fulfill all open orders — you cannot close with pending orders
Settle any outstanding balance — Etsy won't close with an unpaid balance
Go to Shop Manager > Settings
Scroll to Close Shop
Select a reason and confirm
Your listings are removed from search immediately
You can reopen within a certain period if you change your mind
