Arlo Secure costs $7.99/month (or $79.99/year). Arlo Secure Plus is $17.99/month ($179.99/year). The good news: your Arlo cameras still work without a subscription — you just lose cloud recording and some smart features.
If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, you must cancel through that platform — not through Arlo directly. On iPhone: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Arlo → Cancel. On Android: Play Store → Subscriptions → Arlo → Cancel.
If you have an Arlo SmartHub or Base Station, you can plug in a USB drive for local recording — no subscription needed. This gives you video history without cloud storage costs. The limitation: you cannot access the recordings remotely (only when on your home network). A USB drive costs $15-30 and provides months of storage.
