Cancel Your Subscription

- Click 23andMe+ Membership
- Click Cancel membership
- Walk through the retention flow and confirm
CRITICAL: Download Your Data First
Before canceling, download everything. You paid for the DNA kit — the data is yours.
- Raw DNA data: Settings → 23andMe Data → Download Raw Data (this is a text file of your genotypes — keep it forever)
- Health reports: Screenshot or PDF-print every health report you care about — they go behind the paywall after canceling
- Ancestry reports: These remain accessible on the free tier
- Family connections: Your DNA Relatives list stays accessible
